If you’re already here, you know the blog has moved from its old v1.0 version on blogspot, to this fancy new site. Congratulations on finding us again!
More than just a URL upgrade, the blog has undergone some significant changes otherwise. Gus is taking a much deserved break from blogging for the foreseeable future, leaving Bubba and Darth to hold down the fort. A new technology platform is also present, and we will be adding interesting bling to the site as things comes on line. All of the social media accounts have changed as well, so make sure you update your followings as well:
- Twitter: @HarbourCatsBlog
- Facebook: Victoria HarbourCats Baseball Blog
- Instagram: @VicHarbourCatsBlog
Most importantly, with this change comes a change in focus to bring you closer to the team than ever before. There will be less emphasis on the game by game recaps, and more in-depth pieces on topics of current interest. Player profiles and interviews, coaching commentary, and the inner workings of the team both on – and off the field. The goal is to provide you – the Victoria HarbourCats baseball fan – with content you can’t get elsewhere.
Editorials will still be here – look for a series recap after every game set, and a series preview of the next set highlighting key players to watch, moves made by the team, and the general observations that kept the blog the place to go for your pre-game info.
As always, you are welcome to comment on anything you read here, and (respectful) debates are always welcome between the authors and readers of any post! Have an idea for a story or something you would like asked in the next interview, post that as well and we’ll see what we can do.
This WordPress blog is available on your PC, tablet, or mobile phone, simply bookmark the homepage and it will adjust to your platform. And as always, don’t forget to follow the blog on Social media – FaceBook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Thanks for sticking around, and we’ll see you at the ballpark!
